API Certification

In Mid June 2010, PRAKLA Bohrtechnik GmbH has been accredited the API Q1 Certificate by the American Petroleum Institute (API).

The API is the largest association for the Oil- and Gas Industry, including the Petrochemical Industry, in the United States of America.
Having been accredited the API Q1 Certificate, which also includes other certificates such as ISO 9001:2008 and ISO/TS 29001, PRAKLA is now listed in the APIQR’s Composite List as the developer of universal, multi-purpose as well as special purpose drilling rigs and equipment.
PRAKLA thus henceforth accounts for higher, internationally acknowledged quality standards. This certificate also opens further market chances in the field of deep drilling technologies for the BAUER Group of Companies.

“The basis of the certification process had been (amongst others) the analysis of production and documentation processes as well as processes that rule training/schooling of employees, but also the control of inspection and test cycles in relation to the various processes involved.”
